Packing Gland on 850 Vermeer Boom Cylinder
Gland was damaged by a bent rod. To repair, we welded/bored out gland and installed 1/4" oversize induction hardened rod. Pictured on a 24" American Pacemaker Lathe.

Boring case hardened Vermeer pivot ring to accomodate oversized inner ring on 32" Lodge and Shipley lathe.
Inhouse modification on a Vermeer 750 idler shaft assembly. Replacing snap ring with a much stronger bolt on retainer. This modification is available on 850 and 955 also.
850 Vermeer Boom Cylinder Barrel with damaged pin bosses
Welded and rebored pin bosses on a specially made 180 degree fixture that allows near perfect alignment of pin bosses in relation to cylinder and from one side to the other. Shown on a Cincinnati #5 Mill.
Regrinding the bore and flats inside a Hoe Ram bit housing that was mis-machined at the factory and then case hardened. Shown using a 22" General Engines Shaper with a grinding attachment.
